Routes for 2025 are still in development, as soon as they are defined we will publish them oficially.
Until then, here the 2024 routes as an example:
Stage 1 – TimeTrial by ROTOR: 19km ; 550m D+ Time Trial (29 km total)
Starting at the Torre del Rey in Oropesa del Mar, the runners will take the start one by one along the Playa de la Concha in a southerly direction. After a couple of kilometers on the flat, they will face the first climb, short but technical, which will put more than one in their place…
The end of this Timetrial by ROTOR will be the highest point of the Oropesa antennas. From the top, the riders will have to continue to finish the course in Marina D’Or, without the pressure of the time trial, with a fun and technical descent to the finish line.

Stage 2: 76km , 2,200m D+
In this second stage, we move to the city of Castellón to face a very renewed stage. Castellón, Borriol and Sant Joan de Moró will again be the “hosts” of this route. As always it will be a stage with a large component of trails but in this edition, we will have new features and some new trails such as the Senda de la Peralola. The nerve center of the stage is located as every year in the Chencho sports center, on the outskirts of the capital.

Stage 3: 105km , 2,120m D+
If we have to talk about a more “rolling” stage, we will do it on this third day. Oropesa is once again preparing to run a real mountain marathon. Starting at the Concha beach, the riders will ride the first 12 kilometers parallel to the Mediterranean coast, until they enter the first climb of the day, through the Fontanelles valley. Passing through the town of Cabanes and maintaining high altitudes, the bikers will descend to the coast through a very long 6 km path called “Senda dels Treballadors”. Both ascents and descents will generate a significant wear to the runner. It will be necessary to save strength for the second ascent of the day, almost 15 kilometers of hard pedaling will leave the runners in the highest part of the mountain range. Save your strength for the end because this stage gives no rest!

Stage 4: 52km , 1.150m D+
We will close the race with a stage divided into three segments: the first, with the ascent to the radar of Oropesa that will link with the ascent to the Juvellús in the direction of an unpublished descent in the Mediterranean Epic but well known by local bikers, “Machacamazos”.
The second, with the steady climb to the second peak of the day and in the municipality of Cabanes to look for the spectacular descent of “Cuarteró”, a long and technical trial that will put your skill on your bikes to the limit. The route will return to Oropesa through a new short descent called “Cortafuegos” to connect with the finish line but not before enjoying a stretch along the shore of the Playa de la Concha that will put the finishing touch to this adventure of 4 days of authentic mountain biking.
